The City of Ottawa will be holding a virtual public meeting on November 12 followed by an online engagement opportunity to provide residents with an update on the Whitmore Avenue, Cline Crescent and Sherman Drive Integrated Road, Sewer and Watermain Renewal project

7:30 pm to 9 pm.

For the online engagement opportunity, you are invited to review and provide comments on the new documents and illustrations to be posted on ottawa.ca/WCSrenewal after the event, by Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Your feedback can be submitted by email or by phone to the contact below.
What: The City of Ottawa is undertaking the preliminary and detailed design for the renewal of the infrastructure on Whitmore Avenue, Cline Crescent and Sherman Drive.
Why: The existing watermain, sanitary and storm sewers and road infrastructure, constructed in the late 1950’s, has reached the end of its useful life and requires an upgrade to continue to provide the required level of service to your neighbourhood.
Where: Whitmore Avenue between Iris Street and the northern intersection with Cline Crescent, Cline Crescent between the southern intersection with Whitmore Avenue and Albany Drive, and Sherman Drive between Navaho Drive and Cline Crescent.
When: The current project schedule is as follows:
- Design is expected to be completed in spring 2026; and
- Construction is expected to start in spring 2027.
Notices will be sent prior to construction.
Who: The City of Ottawa has retained the design consulting firm, Robinson Consultants Inc., to develop a design for the Whitmore Avenue, Cline Crescent and Sherman Drive Integrated Road, Sewer and Watermain Renewal project.
