Save the date – Brigil Open House
As many of you know, Brigil has placed an application to the City of Ottawa two develop two high rise buildings and a mid-rise building at 2940-2946 Baseline Road.
You can see the application documents on the City’s DevApps website.
I have received many questions about this application and encouraged Brigil to host an info session so residents could see visuals and hear more about their proposal. So now here we are, and Brigil has asked for me to share out that they are hosting an open house with a presentation and a Q&A discussion on May 13th between 6:30-8:30pm on site at 2944 Baseline.
They are looking forward to sharing updates and engaging with everyone. No registration is necessary.
Aucune inscription requise.

Upgrade to the Splash Pad Features at Kilreen Park
When I was out knocking doors last year chatting with residents in the Queensway Terrace South neighbourhood, I had a few people ask me about the state of the rather-faded ladybug splashpad feature at Kilreen Park.
After inquiring about this feature with Parks Maintenance Staff, they have agreed to update the ladybug and sea star splash pad features, with the goal of these being installed and ready to go for the May long-weekend (May 16th - 18th).
I am happy to see this loved splash pad getting some well-needed upgrades!

Read the Reimagining Robertson Road Action Plan!
I’m happy to share with everyone that the Reimagining Robertson Road Action Plan is live on our website!
This report is the culmination of a year of listening to community members and stakeholders who live, work, and play in Bells Corners, on how they feel about Robertson Road, and what they dream of for the future of this main road in the community.
This action plan provides a summary of the results from our public engagement throughout this last year, the community vision for Robertson Road, and the framework for how to work towards making this vision a reality in the short and long term.
Thank you to all the residents, students, businesses, and community members who came along for the ride and inspired me throughout this process. Your voices shaped the vision behind this report and truly reflect the spirit and hear of the Village in the Greenbelt!
You can read the Reimagining Robertson Road Action Plan on my website.

New Greenhouse Gas Emissions Dashboard
The City of Ottawa is proud to launch a new public facing Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Dashboard – an important step forward in how Ottawa’s emissions data is shared, understood, and used. This launch marks an important milestone in the City’s climate journey, making it easier for residents, partners, and decision makers to see how both the community and the City are tracking against emissions targets.
The dashboard builds on the 2025 Greenhouse Gas Emissions Open Data release, transforming detailed emissions data into a clear and interactive online tool. It showcases data on corporate emissions (from City operations such as fleet, facilities, solid waste and wastewater treatment) and community emissions (including transportation, buildings, waste and agriculture across Ottawa). By making emissions data publicly available, the City is supporting community awareness and encouraging collective action toward a net-zero future.
Explore the new dashboard and see how the City is progressing towards our climate goals.

New Access By-law: Driveway widenings and front-yard landscaping
The City has just updated their rules for the Right-of-Way, including property owner maintenance, what can be installed and where, and who is qualified to do different types of work in the Right-of-Way. The update will make the rules for driveway construction, use and maintenance simpler and clearer to understand and will also include clear rules for walkways to align with the new Zoning By-law. It will streamline approvals, reduce red tape and give staff more flexibility in reviewing access locations and designs. You can learn more about the new Access By-law on the City’s website.
